Other tasks and responsibilities:
Borealis Hotel Group focuses on developing, owning, and managing hotels across continental Europe. It does so in close cooperation with a number of internationally well-established brands by IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), Hilton, Accor, Marriott and Hyatt – operating in both the full- as well as focused-service market segments. Predominantly, Borealis handles turn-key hotel development projects (upwards of 80-keys) in high-traffic locations with good transportation links, serving both corporate and leisure demand, across the Continent. Growth happens either through outright acquisition or organically via long-term leases.
Since 1997, Borealis is actively involved in the day-to-day running and asset management of the hotels and has built and developed a strong track record. This was also proven by the sale of its subsidiary the Vincent Hotel Group to Westmont Hospitality in 2015. After the sale the organisation broadened its horizon, looking to establish a new European portfolio, which was expedited with the welcoming of a minority investor Three Hills Capital Partner (THCP) end of 2019.
Backed by Three Hills Capital and its founding shareholders Bart van de Kamp and Lodewijk van der Meulen, Borealis opened 10 hotels, created a solid secured pipeline of hotels under construction and successfully navigated through Covid. To accelerate its growth Borealis has very recently welcomed an additional minority investor Atlantic Park (AP) and in parallel acquired a company of similar size with a portfolio in the DACH region to further continue its growth path to become a true pan-European market leader in the hotel industry. The company had a results driven mentality with people who have a passion for hospitality industry.
When you start working for Borealis you will get the opportunity to work within a growing company in an international setting. You have the chance to develop yourself to the next level in the world of Finance. This job requires lots of autonomy and therefore the change to step up and take responsibility.
