The Manager Business Controlling of KWS Vegetables is, together with his team, focused on helping the business to reach the next level on a global scale.
As the Manager Control, you will play a crucial role in elevating the company's business performance by acting as a Business Partner. You will lead a team of three controllers: Operations Controller, a R&D Controller, and a Sales Controller. The team is highly autonomous, cohesive, and works with a significant degree of trust and independence.
As a Business Partner, you will participate in various Crop-teams, which are global, multidisciplinary teams responsible for strategic business initiatives. An entrepreneurial mindset is essential for contributing effectively in these teams. You will have opportunities for long-term growth in this role and within the company. In this function you report directly to the Head of Business Functions and work collaboratively with the Manager Finance and Procurement.
Other tasks and responsibilities:- Team leadership: Leading the BU Controlling activities (controlling and reporting). Motivate and supporting the team in their development. Establishing a culture of collaboration, accountability, and transparency around all business functions.
- Strategy: play a pivotal role together with the controlling team within the crop teams on setting up long term strategies per crop. Develop and maintain crop P&Ls.
- Forecasting and budgeting: Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budget providing insights in key business drivers and deliver presentations to Management team BU vegetables as well as report to the headquarters in Germany (HQ)
- Internal control: Mapping processes, identifying existing controls, and improving internal control
- Consolidation and control: Responsible for the global consolidation process for the business Unit Vegetables
- Acquisitions: Support in close collaboration with the strategy team the whole process from valuations and due diligence to integrations globally. Support also new activities starting in different countries and regions.
- Project Management: Support Head of Business Functions on Post Merge Integration projects, Transfer price project implementation etc...
- Technology and Data Management: Support integration and roll outs of SAP S4 HANNA, data consolidation (long term), BI Tools and CRM systems. Support implementations of ERPs in other regions (Mexico, Italy, Turkey..)
Profiel
We seek an open-minded, collaborative manager who is assertive and communicates directly. You should be able to think critically, see opportunities, and effectively coach and engage with all organizational levels.
In addition, you recognize yourself in the following: - University degree preferably in Controlling/Business or Accountancy
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in Finance, with at least several years of experience in a business focused role

- Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels
- Excellent knowledge of the English, Dutch is a plus
