As Manager Finance & Control at HSO International, you play a crucial role in the company's success. In this end responsible finance position, you will be part of the management team, lead the finance team, overseeing end-to-end financial processes, developing FP&A and improve financial reporting to the Group.
The position
As a key member of the management team (MT), you will take charge of the company's financial landscape, overseeing end-to-end financial and administrative processes. In this leadership role, you will report directly to the Managing Director and your primary focus will be on the development of the financial planning & analysis (FP&A) practice. Your analytical expertise will be crucial in providing insights into project results, understanding the drivers behind them, and analyzing various business units in comparison to the budget and forecast.
Your responsibilities:
- Be part of the MT and providing financial input and insights during the management team meetings
- Leading a finance team of 4 professionals including a Financial Control Lead
- Actively build and maintain relationships as a business partner, serving as the 'eyes and ears' of the management team
- Provide insights into developments versus the business plan and company strategy
- Collaborate with the management team and business managers for planning and forecasting
- Monitor project results weekly and monthly, conducting ad hoc analyses of progress, costs, margins, and headcount against plans
- Supervise all balance sheet accounts, including intercompany payables and receivables
- Own and actively develop performance dashboards and serve as the data steward ensuring quality
- Oversee financial administration, including month-end and year-end closing processes
- Play a leading role in executing strategy and decisions in Finance and Operations
- Lead strategic Finance and Operations improvement projects, including new tooling, processes, and change management
- Regularly liaise with HSO Group stakeholders
Profile
You are eager and proactive by nature, focus on results and able to cut down to the chase. You are detail-orientated, you like to understand things thoroughly, but also able to oversee the total picture. You are able to make easy contact with the business and have experience with leading a professional finance team.
In addition, you have the following experience:
- University Degree in Business Administration or Business Economics
- At least 8 - 10 years of relevant work experience
- Fluent in English
- Experience with project organizations and project-based working is an advantage
- Experience working in a professional services environment is an asset
- Flexible and hands-on, you like to do a variety of things
